5 Years Letter
Five years ago, WT began as an instinct.
There was no business plan, no perfectly articulated vision just pure passion. A need to make clothes differently, and a simple hope that more and more people would wear them. Seeing people we admire slowly make WT a part of their style meant everything to us.
Over the years, we’ve learned to accept change. Someone once told us that if people say you’ve changed, it probably means you’re doing something right because life is about evolving. It wasn’t easy at first. Nothing is really black and white, and confusion has been a big part of the journey. What we could promise was consistency; doing what felt right, and consistently trying to understand what didn’t work.
Anyone who thinks running a fashion brand is only about making clothes is missing the point. It’s so much more than that. It’s about people, about connection, and about figuring out how to build something that feels real to others. That’s what actually makes a brand work.
You’ve mostly seen WT in its best form confident, positive, put together. What goes on behind the scenes is a mix of everything. Good days, learning days, and days where we simply tried to be better than we were before. That part never stops.
There were moments when things felt really heavy. There was a point when we were honestly thinking about the worst. And then, out of nowhere, a message came in. Someone took the time to write to us, telling us how much our work meant to them, and that we should never stop doing what we do. That one message shifted everything. It put us back on track. Moments like these remind us why we started in the first place, and why we’re deeply grateful for this community.
With your support by our side, we know we’ll keep pushing our boundaries and moving forward, always in pursuit of greatness.
Always choose to be kind. You never really know how far it can take someone.
